I'm trying to put read only powerpoint presentations on the site for my group. I'm trying to do it by having OpenOffice.org Impress convert my PowerPoint 2007 into html. But the OpenOffice Impress won't open my PowerPoint 2007 files. Is there a specific filter selection I need to use? Choosing Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000/XP Template filter gives me a "General error, General input output error". How can I put --(hopefully small file size) --read only, powerpoint material on my site? (We want people to see them, but not be able to possess them and alter them.) I want to have them be cross browser compatible, of course.
thanks!

Edit:
Woops! All you have to do is Click "Save As" and in the lowest bar on the
"Save As" pane, named "Save as type" select "PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation" from the dropdown menu and save the PowerPoint as that file type. Then OpenOffice Impress imports and handles the re-saved file perfectly.
