How do I get it so my site http://gossipfairley.x10.mx/wp only goes to http://gossipfairley.x10.mx without the /wp at the end because I don't want it to go to the Welcome to x10Hosting page.

Try this http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory , and please look through the tutorials at wordpress's site there to see what else you can do and to troubleshoot any problems you might have that's not hosting account related.
