rejecting username when sighning up

right when sighning up, it givs me the error,

"Please correct the following errors:
[*]The forum account supplied does not exist."

which is obviosly not true cos ime posting this,

i have checked that ime typing my name in corectly, ive even copyed it from logging into these forums and it still returns the error. and i have activated my acc

ime not sure but could it have anything to do with the <> in my name?

probably yes since < > are the characters that open and close the internet codes such as html, php and else.

I suggest you ask Staff to change your forum name.

Or, since you got just one post ask staff to delete this and make another (if not allowed to just change).

Yes please use a normal name like "john" "joe" or even " insert name here" without the <> I will leave that for an admin to decide actually.
