Start by going to cPanel -> FTP Accounts. You can setup usernames and password and you will find useful information.

You can use theses settings:

FTP host: ftp.imagestock.x10hosting.com
FTP port: 21
FTP user: cPanel_username@imagestock.x10hosting.com
FTP password: cPanel_password

You can also add more users (eg. for a friend uploading a file for you) through cPanel as gomarc explained.

No, your cPanel and Forum/x10Hosting Panel username and passwords are different. Unless you set your cPanel user and pass as the same as your forum user and pass.
