Remote MYSQL

what am i suppose to put for the server name to access MYSQL from home. I have a program that is going to pull data from it.

thats what i thought but i cannot connect to it user name and pass are correct and my remotemysql is showing my ip address as being able to connect. what am i doing wrong

Your username should be cpanelusername_database and did you add your home IP to your allowed hosts? Do you have a mySQL connector?

oh sorry i was trying to connect through odbc

I'd like to know this as well, I've set the host as % but I can't connect remotely

You need to PM me your IP address also. We don't allow open connections to the MySQL server.
