Removing "x10hosting.com" from domain name

I just purchased a .com and want to change from domainname.x10hosting.com to domainname.com. How do I go about doing this?

I am really new to this. I found a similair query from 2007 on the fourm but the answer was to post the query to the "upgrade" section - which I can't find.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

(I have already changed the domain's nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com)

Three options.

1. Keep cuddles.x10hosting.com as your main domain and "park" cuddles.com. Then both addresses will point to the exact same content. You park a domain using cPanel.

2. Drop cuddles.x10hosting.com and replace it with cuddles.com as your main domain. Login to the Account Panel at https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php and change your main domain there.

3. Keep cuddles.x10hosting.com as you main domain and add cuddles.com as an 'addon'. You do this through cPanel. cuddles.com will be separate from cuddles.x10hosting.com and be located in a subdirectory of public_html
