ok i am having more trouble. what is the correct format for a directory. when i try /public_html/SMF it says "invalid directory"
PLS HELP

EDIT** fixed. i typed "forums" then it worked. thanks for help anyway ash

It depends on what directory it wants.

Try the following:
SMF/
/SMF/
/home/truecop/public_html/SMF/
