I have been trying to restore my MySQL database from a homedirectory backup that i took before i deleted my account. I found the .sql file that i need and tried to upload it with the backup/restore feature in cpannel, however it does not work.

Could anyone help me? Thanks

Create the database using the cPanel database wizard, open phpmyadmin, select the database, click the import tab, and use the sql file.
