Root Dir Question

Hi guys,
I am attempting to install a forum bot on my Vbulletin forum and one of the files asks for:

# This is where all the AIML and startup.xml resides

$rootdir="home/spunky/public_html/forums/alice/aiml";

I try to run the bot loader with those configurations but I get the following error:

Loading startup.xml

Warning: fopen(home/spunky/public_html/forums/alice/aimlstartup.xml): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/spunky/public_html/forum/alice/src/admin/botloaderfuncs.php on line 508
could not open XML input

Apparently that address is not right, any idead what the root directory would be for it then?
