I was wondering how I could go about running RAID 0... I have a 2003 Gateway (Fully Loaded) and I just recently added a second SATA hard drive... My first SATA drive carries 160gb, and the new one is 80gb... I was wondering how I could get RAID 0 to work so I could have a fast 160gb combination... Also, when I initialize RAID 0, what will happen to my 60gbs of data on the first drive (the second has no data)... RAID 0 is striping right? Two drives acting as one drive but with 2x the speed???

Thanks...

P.S. I'm having problems with my games, occasionally my games will lock up after an hour or two, the graphics will freeze and the sound starts chirping... It happens on every game, WTF is that about... please help... THANKS!!!

You can do it in windows without a raid card but...
I think the disks still have to be the same... you could try making 2 partitions the same size and do it... also if you do it through windows you cant make the entire disk raided... windows has to be installed first and there for you can have windows on a raided section. Also running raid though windows and not a raid card causes more load on your cpu...
You can do it by (after having 2 identical partitions/hard drives) right clicking my computer and selecting manage, the select drive manager and you can do it through there. Do a search on google and let me know... i have only ever done it on identical HDDs
