Safe Mode?

Um safe mode is preventing my from installing mods to my forum. is it possible to turn it off? if its too much of a sercurity risk, then you dont have to do it

Safe Mode on the host/server. Thats what SMF Support told me

SMF is great I installed it on my x10 account.

There is a trick though. I think you need to create the sql database FIRST.. then after you try and install it, read the warning.. you will have to CHMOD a couple of files...

Dont recall of the top of my head what they are, but it tells you everything you need to do :

I am not sure if there is safe mod except there is phpSuexec that is on the server...

By safe mode I believe it means php safe mode. I kind of doubt it's on but I couldn't tell you for sure.
