403 Forbidden

Hello!

I'm having a problem with my ad-free site http://sandels.elementfx.com on absolut server. I was trying to upload an updated file to my Joomla template, but couldn't do it through joomlaxplorer like I was able to in the past. During these attempts, I must've done something really, really stupid to permissions because I can't get to the site anymore.

My hosting username is boonta.

The error I get when trying to view anything in my space is:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.39 Server at sandels.elementfx.com Port 80

I checked some previous threads about this same problem, but so far I haven't found a fix for my problem in them. I've tried to change public_html and www permissions. I also tried to rename .htaccess and see if the site would work without it, but it didn't help. My cPanel works fine.

What could be the cause of this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure this fits here but i have seen in other posts you need to have permissions set to 777 or 755.

I've set 755 permissions to every folder and file I thought could be the cause of this problem but no change.
