Recently I have discovered many a search engines poping up all over the place. I remember a while back when there used to be Google™ and Yahoo!™ but that was it. Now there are:

Google
Yahoo!
Answers.com
Yesup
Dogpile
Ask Jeeves
Alta Vista
Alexa
A9
ABC Search
Verticle Search
Windows Live Search
Snap
MSN Search
BrainBoost
Excite
Info.com
ixquick
Mamma
Metacrawler
WebCrawler
Zoominfo
Clusty
Kartoo
Mamma.com
Vivisimo
AOL Search
Netscape
GahooYoogle

as well as many other local search engines.
My favorite has to be...elgooG. It is an exact mirror of Google™. Try it for yourself!

I like the elgooG one, but I believe that Google is probably the most advanced search engine as it has been around such a more longer time than all the others. I predict Yahoo! to come in second, as well as Ask Jeeves (which seems to have an abundance of IntelliTXT ads on this forum). Google is the simplest of them all and easiest to use, it takes not a long time to load, and has its own mirror! That is probably why it gets so much traffic. Google also hosts an advertising program (Google AdWords) which delivers traffic (corresponds with Google AdSense) effectively and gives the customer 100% satisfactino (Thats ME!). Anyways, google is a more inexperienced web user friendly search engine. That is what I'm just trying to say...

I use Ask Jeeves...and just F.Y.I. yahhoo has an advertising program too just like Google AdSense/Google AdWords. Its just not as well known. x10hosting uses Ads by Yahoo!™ all the time and I think that Yahoo!™ pays out just as good as Google AdSense does. And Yesup is a subsidiary of Clicksor™ which is another advertising company. They really can "deliver where it matters!"

I think Google AdSense™ is more profitable than the Yahoo!™ advertising system. And it is more widely known.

That is all.

Yahoo and Ask, although I find myself using Google more because Firefox is in bed with google (all urls with no dns entry, are verified using google as a failsafe, to see if the site exists - plus they're using google phishing).

Without a doubt, Google has already become a much more serious threat then Google. Google's acquisition of YouTube paints a very bleak picture of the future, it seems all simple and innocent now

- but remember that "he who controls the means to information, controls the people by extension" (basically whoever controls the publics access to information, essentially controls what they see, learn and do - one of the primary ways to run a totalitarian/dictator state is to control the access of information).

So it seems Google™ is taking the lead in this one...no surprise there :p
Google's video is very blurry though, YouTube™ videos are crisp. That could lead to a downfall for Google Video eventually. But, Google lets you download videos. YouTube doesn't let you do that

Has to be google.

But now that google has brought youtube, i feel that thney are going to turn it into some kinda corperate thingy me bob!

However combining the quality of videos on youtube and the downloadness of google you might get an amazing service, however got to be careful of copyrightness!

Yeah, google lets you download and the quality of the downloaded videos is amazing. Definitely better quality than the streaming google video, and a little bit better than the YouTube videos (which are only streaming, no download). Get Google Video player, its awesome.

I know this is a bit off topic but google has purchased YouTube so plan for better service in the near future.

Hehe, where does he live...? Not that I was going to go ask him for anything, not anything regarding money, or anything...I wish I had started YouTube. Or Google. Well, actually Google had money to spare though. They could afford YouTube, but I don't see why they would want it so much?
