Well, alot of people re having this problem. The only thing I cn tell you is to check your account at x10hosting.com/account If it shows that Exim has a red circle, then that emans it is down for your email. So, if it is green, then yeah, it is working. Be patient and soon it will be back up. Also, did you make sure oyu created an email account via Cpanel? Are you using the Webmail provided?
