One of the PHP scripts on my site uses the mail function in PHP to send email. It worked great up until today when it stopped working. Is anything going on with sendmail on the servers?

Hello,
Your account's has been set up to use the Basic package of PHP; in order to use the mail() function you need to submit a request for the Intermediate version. You can do so via the Account Management Panel (http://x10hosting.com/account ).

What Synkc said above this post is incorrect.

Mail() should be working correctly. Are you still having this issue? This may have just been an intermittent problem that has been resolved.

Sometimes SMTP server is down. So you have to be patient.

Is this a known issue and are they working on it? "Sometimes" for me has been about 50% of the time since the beginning of the year. In the last two weeks it worked for about 2 days.
