Serious 500 internal server errors are popping up everywhere now!

Hi.

Everything I have tried to do such as post a message in my forum, or try to access anything in my Joomla frontend & backend (admin) I am getting the 500 internal server error.

There are some serious things going on here....

I'll try to find a solution to this. Is there any more information you can provide? Is this happening at a certain time of day?

Hi garrettroyce.

No, no special time. It's just started to happen out of the blue, and it just seemed to just get worse (it escalated rather quickly). I do know though that I created a sub-domain to install Livetype (blog software) which oddly enough took three times to install. It was giving me so many errors at one point I had to wipe the database for the install, and try again. Once I found out that the software wasn't what I wanted to use, I deleted the database (database name was blog), the user name, and deleted the files in the sub domain, then uninstalled the sub domain itself....and that is when the trouble began. C-panel started to not update the information of the sql databases properly, and the 500 internal errors just started out slow, then got so bad I had to start posting here to let you folks know about it.

I installed the latest version of Live Type, and the file was directly downloaded from their site, not a third party.

I hope this helps you folks out.

Thank you for the information. I have presented it to the staff for evaluation. As soon as I know more, I will try to reply back to this thread (unfortunately, I have a job outside of X10, so it may be a while before I can update you).

It seems the problem is fixed for other users. Is everything back to normal for you?

Hi garrettroyce.

The 500 internal error(s) have been corrected. I just can't get to my site at the moment. I'm receiving a timeout. I checked the website with a website tool, and it's getting a timeout as well. Also earlier I received something new for an error. It was a 504 error Gateway problem, but I'm not sure if that is on my end or not...The day has been full... :)

Yes, this is probably a part of a separate issue that I have notified the staff members of. The server is currently fully online, but there may be some problems with slow responses.
