Resolved serious problem on x15 server

whats up Admin's,
i was in the middle of deleting a sub folder in public_html
directory, when all my other files in public_html were gone to.

i did not delete it all, only the contents in my /forum/
sub directory.
my root directory should not have been deleted.
which would have had 5 folders and 5 extra files in it.

I'm not an admin, but I did try to check if I saw any files. There's nothing inside of ~/domains/[your domain]/public_html and there's nothing in ~/.trash either.

I'll leave this for a few days for the admins to gander at, but I would be surprised if there's anything they can do.

Please don't take this as blaming you, as you didn't do anything wrong, but for everyone reading this, please make lots of backups of your website and don't store them on x10. I know the (out of date) wiki does say backups are available, but that feature was removed several years ago. I'll do what I can to help, but once files are gone, I can't help at all with that.

thanks @garrettroyce I understand what you mean.
I just know i only deleted content in my /forum/ directory.
that was in my /public_html/ folder.
i dont usually keep any deleted files in the temp folder.
those i normally delete to save disc space.

Even though there probably is not much admins can do,
i thought i should let admins know of that.
in case its its related to a bigger issue.

i guess all i can do really is try uploading the backups i have.
