Server Down Time / Bandwidth

I just read a message about server going down. How often is this happening now? How fast are members saying the server has been running lately? Finally, can someone explain bankwidth in general terms. Are number of page hits valid to bandwidth? Thank you so much!!!

Your problem is my problem too.. Everytime I connect to the server theres a connection problem even the server is not down..or maybe? Do this bandwidth affects the connection?

How often is it happening? Probably not as often as it sounds.
They are doing maintainance work on them. This happens to ANY server, any hosting company.
Due to probably numerous errors and problems, they decided to fix and work on them all.

I believe they do maintainance like once every couple of weeks, (like 2-3). Maintainence is common, because I used to work in an IT department, and we had to do server-backup and server restore like once a weekend. Gotta protect those professor's idea! haha
