Server Down

Dear Admins,

My server is down. The server IP address is 74.86.133.24.

Whats wrong?

Doesn't look like the server is down nor did I get any alerts. Can you not access your site?

Yes sir, I cannot connect to my website at all. http://www.ultimatevelocity.net. It was working fine last night. Under member control panel It does say my server is up and running.

When trying to connect through FTP:

I use cute ftp, i connect to host: ultimatevelocity.net, user, ultimate, password :***** (I did type correct info) and i get this error:

STATUS Getting listing ""...
STATUS Resolving host name ultimatevelocity.net...
STATUS Host name ultimatevelocity.net resolved: ip = 74.86.133.24.
STATUS Connecting to FTP server ultimatevelocity.net:21 (ip = 74.86.133.24)...

When trying to connect on the web I get:

The connection has timed out

The server at www.ultimatevelocity.net is taking too long to respond.

connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I tested your link and it works fine for me.

I just tested it and it is still not working. My friends at diffrent locations tried it they get the connection timed out error also. I even went to the public library and it wont work. I also did a dns flush on my computer. So I dont know?

Control Socket -- if you are behind a router/firewall check your port forwarding (Set the FTP client to PASSIVE).

the site is coming for me also . using only the sub-domain name which this site provided you with.

Nah man, I can ping the server. The connection just times out. My friend has an account with you all too and his is not working either.

NOTE: I just tryed to ping and Request timed out.

Admins do you know anything or can I be moved to another server that works?

The server you are on works fine. PM me your IP address, I'll check the firewall.

That server is working. I have no problems connectiong to your website. If that was the case i wouldn't be able to even connect to your site.

OK, now i had a friend down the street try and they could load it. I dont know what the problem is.

Cache files cache file.. I know i have this problem daily. Because in FireFox my cache doesn't update like it should. Have no clue as to why not and i have tried different settings.

Oh well a small price to pay for a better web browser.
