Server Down?

GMT time

Neither my CPanel or my website it self were not being opened on ym broswer. It said the server wasn't respond. When I checked on my x10hosting account panel: My account was unsuspended and according to it....the servers weren't down...

Could someone confirm this and help me?

I just "pinged" 70.87.51.250 (the ip address of the hosting server according to my account panel)
It couldn't connect too...So, I think the server could have been down...again: Please reply to confirm this

I am uploading files by ftp...

It might be your FTP program. Some FTP programs open too many connections to the server which causes our firewall to block you for 30-60 minutes. Currently the connection limit is 200.

What client are you using?

I cant figure out how to change this limit? Nothing in the settings...but for now I tried changed the number of simultaneous downloads/uploads
