Server load in red..

Hey, this is what i got on my server for my hosting:

5.37

this is causing my site to be extremely up and down and the majority of the time completely timing out

5.37 is not a high load - if it says 30+ worry, it wouldnt cause your site to time out either. Absolut looks to be ok, yes the server load is slightly above normal but all looks to be responding well within acceptible times (eg no mysql time outs, page time outs etc)
