Is it possible to reconfigure my server settings?? Ideally I would like to switch the following on:
show_source, system, passthru, popen, proc_open, readfile.

Regards
Darren

Just wanted to make an observation, but its not technically "your server", as its shared with a lot of other people. I am not one that can answer if those can be turned on or not ... maybe explain what you are requiring that you wish to have them on may give the AM's and admin's more understanding on why you want them turned on.

Many apologise, I did forget I do share this server with other people, and am not the sole owner.

Basically I am using BLOG software called TextPattern that requires these PHP Functions to be activated for it to function correctly. It is operating at the moment (on my site http://takuhii.x10hosting.com/), but there are some errors I am encountering that would probably be resolved if these functions were activated.

Darren

Correct me if i'm wrong, but why does it need system EXEC access? (passthru + system)? They were disabled for security reasons, however, if you want you can try putting a php.ini file into your /www folder (Or wherever your blog software is)., turning those functions on. If it doesn't work, then i dont think corey will for security reasons. If it does, then you can use em ;-)
