Server load was just through the roof..

It's "stablizing" now.

Why dose server load always go so high? I know because a lot of people are on the srever but should'nt the srever have a precaution if that happens?

The server slowness is definately down to high load if you ask me.

Disk sda8 (/home) = 89%

The server seems to run so slow, it takes forever to load the web site, is there any thing the x10 staffs can do to speed up the server a litte bit? some of my users that use dial up can not get in the site though, so please help
