Servers keep going down?

I noticed the servers keep going on and off, is that normal? I plan to buy an inactivity timer, but I'm not so sure i want to with the servers like this.

x10Hosting's uptime is more or less the best you can find anywhere. Due to constant upgrades, even the free hosting uptime is almost perfect. If the servers are down, this could be caused by temporary server overload.

Remember that there are other people using the same server as you, and people abusing the servers could slow it down. Just wait a short while for them to be automatically suspended for high resource usage, and your website should work fine again.

All the servers experience some downtime, even paid plans. The thing is that since the free plans don't cost a thing to the users, the servers will get more populated. It is normal to have a slower server if the server is more filled up with accounts.
