setting up psychostats

i dont know if this is the right place to post.


I'm installing Psychostats for Counter-Strike on my page and i have a little problem with making a directory to the compiled themes.
the default is /tmp/ps_themes_compiled.
the installation tells me: Specified direcory IS NOT writable!
does it mean a directory in my root or in public_html?
and how do i make the permissions so it can do this.

but i dont understand what i need to do.
