SHELL_EXEC Issues

I am trying in install soho website builder i got from fantasitico.
i have downloaded and uploaded onto my site but i am getting this message:
Unable to install! The php command, SHELL_EXEC has been disabled on this server.

Solution: Remove the SHELL_EXEC command from the disable_functions list in this Server's php.ini . You may need to ask your Host to enable SHELL_EXEC. Once SHELL_EXEC is enabled, reload this script.

Can anybody help me to resolve this????
i am a complete noob at this!

Have you upgraded your version of PHP to Intermediate?
