Silkroad Online anyone?

Anyone play Silkroad Online? It's a free MMORPG.

No spyware and the only money they're making off of is you buying silk from them but its not really required in the game unless you want special pets and stuff.

I'm on the Xian server for people who are interested.

Yes the servers are all crowded. Try to get in the afternoon. Mornings are over-populated.

I played for a while, but their servers are laggy 24/7. On the weekend it takes about 30 minutes before it actualy works.

Yeah, I played it too.
It has awesome graphics for a free game.

But, like WoW, it became boring in less than 2 weeks heh.

It may be morning there, and afternoon here. *lol* ... Thats okay, I just play on Gametap.com ... takes a while to get the games, but I have no rush.

i have a lvl 41 character on xian (full str glaive), a full int lightning bow lvl 57 (not playing it anymore) and a lvl 35 full int bow (lightning/ice)

don't even ask why i have 2 full int bow chars i don't know either

would love to create a nuker (spear/fire/lightning) but really can't be bothered to lvl up another char + sp farm

my glaiver has been grinding at bunwangs since lvl 39 now (bunwangs = lvl 45)
wolf = lvl 32

sro has one major downside:
the annoying login
it can take upto 1 hour to finally get logged in (you keep getting disconected at the login screen cause the servers are full)

also beware of many scammers, people that ccf, people buying you silk and either stealing your account or backcharging (and getting your account banned)

funny seeing max lvl for silkroad online (international version) = 70
korean servers are probably higher max lvl already though
though korean servers don't have the Xian server

Played it a while ago, but it was too grindy and too long queues to enter servers....

yep
to much grind (which wouldn't be a problem if..)
takes 2hours just to login to the bloody game (during the evening (euro time))
dc bug while wearing pvp cape (resulting in having to login for the next 2hours again)
no queue system to log in (just dc's you when it's full)
also only way to reset your skills = grind + spend a hell of a lot of gold (and skill points) or pay an awfull lot of $ for it
