i cant get to my site is anyone else having this problem....my site is sixshooter.pcriot.com i cant even connect to it through ftp...

Ok, my site is up cpanel is fine. but i cant get to it through FTP and I really need to. It is saying Connnection Failed(Connection Refused). I know that my name an pass is right i have never changed it.

i got the same problem http://www.crasher.pcriot.com/ isnt accecable but http://crasher.pcriot.com/ is then wel avaible

whit filezilla i cant acces my webpage true port 21 but i can true port 22 (secure server) but then i cant upload my files that are in w8list of filezilla :S

The reason I need it so bad is I need to back up my site files.

i have the same problem since they's moving server to another place my website , before i was able to see my website like www.NAME.exofire.net now i can't same as i can't use name.exofire.net for the ftp. then for see my website i can't go without www. and sometimes same without www. doesnt work, maybe depent the region were u leave. but some guys was help me on my thread and giving me an tips clean cache of broswer and flushdns maybe can help you

humm...i looked but didnt find anyting that helped...Please help staff. I really need to back up my files from the site and ftp is the only way to back up the folder for cpanel dont have that option and i would have to download all indepently and that would take 2 days

Try using 74.86.116.190 as the host name instead of your domain for FTP.

try filezilla it works for me i could even delete files

wen you use filezilla type in the name manual like this

server= crasher.pcriot.com ; username = XXXXX ; pass=XXXX port= 22 then klick fastconnect

then it need to work normal (for me it does if i use port 21 it doesnt )

otherwhise they are maybe edditing your cpanel (i can acces that to ) and then you need to w8 until it is done

to gain acces to your cpanel go to www.x10hosting.com and login then you can see your websites :S

if this doesnt work then no1 can help you i aim affraid and then you need to w8 until tomorow (or do like me and use a program to upload your files and i got always a backup before i upload files so i dont lose anything )

i have tried using the IP address rather than the site name. neither work. same error on both

That is what it is saying. I have even triedit in passive mode and non passive mode. It was working earlier today and then it just quit. The site works and the cpanel works just cant connect to the site through ftp

hmm i got a other solution for you then (hope this will works dont know dint try it out )

use the webdisk that you can find in cpanel
or els if you really need the backup then you need to do it whit the cpanel file explorer and downloading file per file (sorry cant give any other solution or els keep w8ting )

this is the last thing whit i can help if nothing els works

to admin : strange that when i go to my site easyer the day that i saw the cpanel upgrade (www) index and when i go whiteout www then i see my normal homepage (need to re upload the index.html but ftp is tempory offline )

can you explain that to me how that comes ??
