Site for School Clubs

I'm about to start up some more clubs, but I don't know what engine I should use. I decided to WordPress for the CE club because I want to give access to the clubs' leaders. Anything I should improve on?

On the first page it needs to say 'click here' or something, at first sight it just looks like a site with no content.
