dont get me wrong.....

Last thing i want to do is nag on about something, but the thread you closed with the following answer:

Re: many and lengthy outages
just incase

your ISP is slow at updating their dns propagantion (i believe thats the correct word) anyways you can try

start | run| cmd | ipconfig /flushdns

Log off Then Log back on

wast closed a bit premature.

The problem occurs with the following isp's:

(tried personally)
Wanadoo
Casema
Chello
KPN (dedicated leased line, 10Mbit)

(tried by aquaintances)
HetNet
xs4all
and all the providers used by 5 other aquaintances, who didn't know who their provider was.

Now, if i am having this problem... ok...
If a few other people have the problem... well, ok....
but if everyone has the problem.... Maybe it IS something other than a dumb user who's still confused every time he needs to go to start to turn off the pc.....

Judging by the other forum threads i've seen popping up, i might not be the only one with this problem....

But hey, dont feel like you've gotta jump and go fix it right away or something. I'm just telling y'all this as an FYI.

And if the site runs stable for a while, and keeps its speed up, i will pay for it when traffic picks up.

I wouldn't want to come across as an asshole who's *****ing all the time expecting top service for free or something.

I just have some bad experie nces with web hosts in the past (both payed and free) so i'd like to see a site up, quick and stable for a quarter before subscribing for a period and spend mony and hassel on it. I allso like to see if the site will get its visitors back after the long periods of outages, complete losses of all database content and so on.

That's why hosts like you, when reachable, would be such a awesome improvement to the webhosting biz. Providing webhosting services for free which most payed hosts can't! Tha'll whip em back into shape soon enough, wont it?

So any help in helping my aquaintances and friends getting onto the site would benefit us all...

Thanks for your time in any case.

regards,
Christ
