im aware of the current server problems and have searched the forums for this issue but didnt see anything, so here i am.

I can access my cpanel and make changes to my site from the file manager, but i cant access or see the site itself? not sure whats going on, i tried in both firefox and IE (7) but no luck :\. If this has something to do with the servers being transfered, i appologize.

Yes becuause cPanel is a diff service than the sites..so yoursite dosn work but cPanel does. Although do not make changes due to the fact it may not update and corrupt a few files depending on were the copying is.

i would suggest not to modify your account until it is on the new server because some of the changes that are made during the transfer may get discarded.
