my site is takuhii.x10hosting.com, my username is takuhii.

I recently setup some FTP accounts, but I can't get any of them to work. I've configured filezilla a ZILLION times, but connecting to x10 by ftp client is an absolute nightmare.

I've been to the FTP manager in cPanel and set up a username of takuhii_ftp, filezilla just refuses to connect. Says I'm not connected to the Interweb.

Has anyone got any pointers?

I've also uploaded some files, MANUALLY, and I can't get my php applications to run (I've uploaded a blogging app) I'm within the spec of the PHP software. But my server constantly tells me it can't find the page... but the page is there...

Your default FTP username/pass for your main domain is your cPanel username/password. use the following:

Username: yourcpaneluser
Password: your cpanel pass
Address: yourdomain.x10hosting.com Port: 21

Make sure you upload your website into the www (public_html) folder, otherwise people won't see it.

If you are using FTP accounts setup in the FTP manager of cPanel, the details are the following:

Username: the_user_you_setup@yourmaindomain.x10hosting.com
Password: the pass you setup
Address: yourdomain.x10hosting.com Port: 21

I've also uploaded some files, MANUALLY, and I can't get my php applications to run (I've uploaded a blogging app) I'm within the spec of the PHP software. But my server constantly tells me it can't find the page... but the page is there...

Make sure that you have uploaded it into the www folder, and that the permissions make the file readable (444 is a good start).
