I want to know how to check my site hits using cpanel.

Using cPanel, you can download your Raw Access Logs and put them through a 3rd-party program such as awstats or webalizer to give you graphical results. Note that unless you change the default options, you'll only be able to get the logs for the current day, so make sure to change those (I recommend checking BOTH of the checkboxes, so your account doesn't get filled up with log files)
