SMF ad help

Hi,
I'm using a Simple Machines Forum on my site and I followed the intructions on how to add ad codes to SMF only both of the options it gave me did not work, and I can't see ads.

Download the ad mod and install it. If you use the default theme then all you have to do is install it and away you go. If you are using a custom theme then you will have to edit the 4 template files that come with the custom theme. It really is not hard to do and this way you can have your choice where the ads go. The ad mod can be found here:

Remember: if you are using a custom theme but have the ad mod installed all you have to edit is the 4 template files that are found in your custom theme. I have edited a few templates so far that can be found here:
