SMF forum problem

I dont know how it got there... Where should i move the forums folder?

I run smf for a forum (link under my sig) and my folder with smf in it is in the "www" folder.

Did you install it through fantastico ??

yeah, i installed it from fatastico.

Okay, i moved the forums folder to www. but there is another one in public_hmtl. what do i do with the one in the public_html folder?

no sorry I was wrong I had to upload my version of smf thats why its in a different place. Move yours back, I`m sorry for the confusion I should have asked first. If this was installed through fantastico there should be no problem at all. try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, see if that helps. unless you have tried this already.

sry, i tried removing it then re-installing. Still has the same problem...


How did you get your forum to work?

yup, thats the exact same thing on my site.

Ok it looks like it might be a problem with the server. Let me check.

There is a red flag in the server, but we will have to wait for an admin to take this farther. It could be a glitch with Fantastico.

I doubt it but we will have to wait for an admin to look at the problem, that shouldn`t take long.
