I recently got past the first errors I caused by the hostname check option (which I would really like to use). Googling results returned some old threads on here regarding the blank page error. That has been overcome.
I am now trying to add custom smileys to SMF.
This article on the SMF website has noted that our current version of MySQL causes an error when modifying smilies. There are two codes that need to be changed to avoid this error without upgrading MySQL (which I obviously can't do). One in a file that I cannot find (upgrade_1-1.sql), and another that I know I have access to, the ManageSmilies.php site.
Any help would be appreciated so I can take full control of SMF. Everything else works well as far as I can tell.
Thanks in advance.
