Smtp Mail Problem.

I can recieve mail, but I cannot send outbound. I have tried ports 25, 1095, and 2095 (found those refences via search). The only one that does anything is 2095, it says 'Securing' and sits. I am using Outlook Express, and as others have mentioned. The auto configure did not work (Maxthon Browser). I just saved em as reg files n imported manually, but I'm not using the standard OE so dont think it effected it.

Any help is apprechiated, sorry if this has already been addressed.

:O Last time I checked I couldnt even connect to my mail at all! You must have set it up better than me

There is usually bit in cPanel that tells you what your settings should be set to. It also has an auto-configure file thing, but that never really works for me

I dont think it does. I posted a while back about it and others couldnt set up their mail clients to fully send and receive their mail.

You might need to continue to use the cPanel webmail clients. There is also a url that takes you straight to the mail area (instead of having to log into cPanel first).

If this has changed in the last few months, Could anyone else please correct me - I went away for a bit (well not away, just still used my account, just forgot about the forum )
