SMTP isn't working for me at all. Not even through outlook. Giving me:

Task 'Webmaster@GloriousLS.elementfx.com - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Is there something I need to do after the server migration? Searched a few other posts, and they said that SMTP is up. But, not working for me.

:) Read the bottom post...

I'd like to make a note, SMTP is not actually down on these servers. It is a problem with our we query the SMTP port and the firewall.

If the server is up and everything is running, it's most likely not down.

So, I was a bit confused, that's why I was asking. lol. I can connect on incomming, but outgoing isn't working, wondering if that was resolved or if that was my problem. When the server changed name for us, I was wondering if the outgoing(SMTP) address and incomming(POP3) address for outlook had changed, and after some digging around in my cPanel, I had found that it did, but my outgoing isn't working quite right, and I was wondering if that was connected to the above quoted issue.

:) So yes, I did look, I just don't know if that's what's causing my specific problem, as I'm able to send internal mail, just not outside of my own email addresses I set up to test.
