So My site got suspended over 2 weeks ago

This is ridiculous. Firstly, you suspend my site for no reason because there is apparently a link between me and another user, secondly, I post on your community forums for a resolution as you have told me, and still I get zero reply from anyone. This has to be the worst host i've ever used!

All I wanna do is access my hosting account to grab a backup of my site and i'm not gonna use you again. This is ridiculous.

I have had this message for the last 2+ weeks..

I mean come on. A MyBB forum can't be against your TOS... If that's the case this has to be the most pathetic hosting service i've ever seen.

Im not sure what triggers such a suspension, but it would be interesting to hear an explanation from staff.

As far as something being against TOS, the type of forum software you run has no bearing on what type of content is on that site.
It would be quite easy to set up some type of porn site on MyBB for example, which would be a violation of the TOS

It was a site for a gaming Community. So I doubt it's against the rules. Spam filters were also installed to stop spam bots from Posting Adult content. I made sure of that when I made it and Never had an issue. So I would like to know exactly why my site was suspended when I did nothing against TOS in the slightest!

The active suspension on your account was issued as you were confirmed to be linked to another account that had hosted a highly illegal DDoS/Booter on their account (I've checked and confirmed the link makes sense based on login activity, among other things I'm not able to disclose). Once the link was discovered the account was suspended as we suspend all accounts linked to ones we identify as running illegal software; unless senior staff are able to make an exception to this, we would be unable to lift the suspension due to this link having been identified.

Edit: I should make clear, this had nothing to do with the MyBB software on the account at all. We do indeed allow MyBB, and any other legitimately free or legitimately purchased forum software.

Lmao. A Ddos / Booter? I wouldn't waste my time hosting one when I have more important things to do. But you guys believe that. I think i'm smart enough not to even bother with that kind of stuff. I wouldn't even know where to start with that crap. If you would like to bring it up to senior staff in a way of an appeal, I think if you checked my hosting account, you wouldn't find a trace of any illegal software anywhere on the account. I don't host Illegal content nor will I ever allow it to be hosted on my site. I was obeying the TOS and have been a user of your free hosting since November when I first set the account up. Check whatever logs you need to check. Nothing illegal has been hosted on the account. It was only MyBB and My old domain's version of IP Board which I took down when I realised that I couldn't transfer the license from one domain to another.

Do note that it is not being said that your current suspended account has been hosting such content. Rather, the account(s) you supposedly been previously accessing had the illegal software stored on them.
