Softaculous Backup eating up all space

Hi, I noticed some errors in my site and after some investigations realized that I ran out of space. I saw that there is a daily softaculous backup, but there was only four files created (from jan 1st till Jan 4th). Is this something new? I had to manually delete de flies to recover some free space for my site to work. Can I prevent this to happen?

Softaculous -->
YourScriptInstallation (ie WordPress, Drupal) -->
Under Options: Edit Details -- the icon of a pad and pencil -->
Examine the options: Auto Upgrade, Automated backups , Backup Rotation
