Softaculous not installing wordpress

While trying to install wordpress using softaculous, I'm getting error "The MYSQL database is not getting selected". This probably seems to be due to the "user name" not getting prefixed with the database name entered.
Please help.

You may wish to consider manually installing WordPress.
It is very easy.
