Softaculous - Wordpress

I installed the wordpress app from softaculous, but it is asking me to log in with my wordpress account, but it doesn't work. I even tried entering my email address and saying I lost my password but it says my email is not registered.
My email is registered and works on wordpress.com.
Do I need to register separately to be able access wordpress.org on this host?
If so, where do I register?

Hello,

Your account on your wordpress install will be different from that of wordpress.org since they are different sites. You should have set an admin username and password when installing wordpress in softaculous, so you should use that.
