Some HTML not working

I can't figure out why, but some of the HTML i type into my pages works, but then when I want to change a word in a sentence or something it won't show up! Like when I look through my html it shows the correct changes I've made, yet when I veiw my webpage nothing has changed. Is this a glitch or what?

Have your tried clearing out your browser's cache? (Ctrl +F5)
