I have some VPS on vpsspeed.com and i would like to migrate to X10, but i got this questions.
In http://x10hosting.com/vps.php it says you offer Debian 4.0 is it true?, I mean tehre is a NEW stable version since a lot time... can I Upgrade it myself via APT or is there any kind of limitation with the VPS in that way.

How much guaranteed speed do i Have with the VPS?
Can i set up my own NS with just 1 IP or do i need to buy more?
LXadmin is supported on Debian?
How much guaranteed cores or processor mhz's do i Have with the VPS?
Is there any resource limitation within my guaranteed stuff that i buy?
Can i upgrade my VPS without losing data if i need?

How much guaranteed speed do i Have with the VPS?

Depends on the plan you select
http://x10hosting.com/vps.php

Can i set up my own NS with just 1 IP or do i need to buy more?

You can have as many IP's as you wish for an additional $1 per IP per month. I currently have 5.

Can i upgrade my VPS without losing data if i need?
Yes. I have done this myself with absolutely no problems.

I believe theres a newer version of Debian, that page is old and not updated.

How much guaranteed speed do i Have with the VPS?
i think its 10mbps in the new data center though im not sure.
Can i set up my own NS with just 1 IP or do i need to buy more?
You need 2 Nameservers for a domain
LXadmin is supported on Debian?
Probably not. Ive never used it before, i just use webmin. Also LXadmin may not be supported anymore with the new datacenter.
How much guaranteed cores or processor mhz's do i Have with the VPS?
Thats listed on the plan, Fair Share CPU (600Mhz Guaranteed), Fair Share CPU (1200Mhz Guaranteed),Fair Share CPU (1800Mhz Guaranteed), Fair Share CPU (2400Mhz Guaranteed)
Is there any resource limitation within my guaranteed stuff that i buy?
I don't think so. Since every VPS is guaranteed certain RAM and processor cycles, theres not much abuse that can go on. It might be possible to abuse the connection, but the only way i can think to do that is disallowed in the TOS(torrent client or tracker)
Can i upgrade my VPS without losing data if i need?
you can upgrade your plan without any issues.

Depends, Some registars will some will not, depends were you got your domain from...

That ain't correct, you only need the one server, you can create two ns subs pointing to the same IP address for example:

ns1.jamiesrebellion.com
ns2.jamiesrebellion.com

Are both set at: 99.198.122.72

LXadmin is supported on Debian?
Probably not. Ive never used it before, i just use webmin. Also LXadmin may not be supported anymore with the new datacenter.

Firstly its kloxo, secondly it won't be discontinued it is supported at the new datacenter. There is nothing to stop it being supported due to the fact its up to the user what he wants running, nothing to do with the datacenter.

Kloxo should work with most versions of linux, I can't say it will work on Debian due to the fact ubuntu is Debian based and I haven't had success yet. CentOS is great for servers use that, unless you have experince in debian

You are absolutely correct. I think I misunderstood the OP's question. I am currently using a total 5 IP's from X10 but only two of those are set for name servers. The rest are for the purpose of SSL on certain domains.

That ain't correct, you only need the one server, you can create two ns subs pointing to the same IP address for example:
ns1.jamiesrebellion.com
ns2.jamiesrebellion.com
Are both set at: 99.198.122.72

Again, you are correct. I have done this very thing myself in the past. Separate IP's on each name server is a good idea, (redundancy), but not absolutely required.

Agreed, 2 name servers are a good idea, if you work with over 100+ clients on one server, allthough for smaller usages its not needed to have 2 servers just for NS.
