Hello!!!

I have some suggestions to d which I think they are usefull and they could help x10.

1- Make a manteinance day. For example, if you're going to update something or run the inactivity script or something else do it the same day of the week and once per week. For example, every sunday from XX:00 to XX:00 manteinance, so people when see that they have som problem with something but they saw we're on sunday and it is the manteinance day they will not make 1000 posts about the same error.

2- Make a Subforum for all the important threads (Sticky ones) It's quite annoying to see 15 sticky posts, you're not going to read all, you feel tired. But if you do a subforum called for example Important Information where you can keep all the sticky posts updated.

3- Another subforums called Answered problems. (Like a F.A.Q) We can write there the problems that has been solved and the solution, so people when have a problem will only go to that forum and saw if there is any post where it's written the same as he is going to post.

Thank you for read this and sorry for my English level.

1. Good in theory, but with the staff living in all parts of the world, working various shifts ( in jobs and school, etc ) ... and some problems not fixing themselves between x:xx and x:xx, its kinda hard to set up a time to fix something, if it seems to have issues every day afterwards.

2. Good idea, but then again - we have various locations that have important information, and it doesn't get read there either. But, good suggestion.

3. The last report I saw in the staff area, Corey and the admins / staff are working on a form of a wiki or FAQ, but so far - I haven't heard any updates.

In 1- It can be done for example... along the week for example Corey or other staff could take note about a problem that could be fix in some staff forums. So In one day They could solve them. ( If it's a problem with an specific account, if they can solve the same day... :p)

2- better to have all in one that lots separately, isn't it?

3- Waiting for more information ^^

And another thing. I think the Staff must take more serious the work of closing posts and deleting them. In support forum there are lots of posts solved that aren't closed.. and lots of them that should be deleted... I know you can close your own post, but 90% of ppl don't do it.

Threads rarely get deleted. They get deleted if its spam, advertisement, etc. We will close threads, though. Lately, due to server issues, thread closing is the least of our worries. But now that you mention, I'll go take a peek in the support section and see what can be closed.

We don't delete threads because we want people to have the ability(although they don't seem to like to use that neat search feature) to do a search and find answers to the problem they are having. If we deleted them then the people who do actually use the search feature would not have nothing to search for.

I think the first idea is a really good one but maybe one day x10 won't need any maintenance at all and the servers will always be online.

I think that instead of that. They should plan the maintenance times and tell us on the forums when everything is going to be off line then back online again.

Again, we do our best to let people know when the servers go down. Like I tried to explain above. Sometimes, we can't come on and say "Oh. We're going to have a DDoS attack at 8pm for 1 hr, or the databases and Data Centre will have issues at noon to 3pm." Things happen and we do our best to fix it quickly.

Your suggestions are good to have on x10, but!

2. Sub-forum called "Important Topics"? If there was any chance on making this, you'll most likely making a sub-forum called that, but the only difference is split topics. Everything would be the same, but using split topic would fall under Important Topics.

3. Would people use FAQ or knowledge base? It's great idea though.
