I just logged in to cPanel.. first thing that caught my eye was that my bandwidth usage was extremely low (a few hours ago I had used up 3 GB of bandwidth)

I went into file manager and found that my index page was reset to the index page I had a month ago.. that and several large files I uploaded have disappeared..

Looks to me like an old backup was loaded or something.. hopefully there's a new backup somewhere that fixes this..

This might just be on my account only.. I'm looking at a few other people's sites and they look fine

Open up cpanel goto the file manager, and click on public_html or www and check the trash can - see if the files are in there. It could be a cpanel hiccup or something, I don't know how X10 is set up but if its connected to a Raid server, the server could have somehow pulled an old backup off the server for your account.

Well something is definitely wrong because I was using ftp just now and it gave me this message:

[R] 553 Disk full - please upload later
[R] Transfer Failed!

I checked cpanel and I haven't even come close to touching the disk space limit for my account, I think the main server HD may be full!

I am not sure if my problem is related to any of this, I was about to post a new topic about it. I am having an index problem as well. My site is webchef.x10hosting.com I am using Joomla! cms.
If I go to www.webchef.x10hosting.com, my index page will not load. It just shows a blank page and says done in the status bar. I have tried going to it on IE6 and Mozilla Firefox 2.0rc1 but to the same effect. If I want my index page to load I have to go to www.webchef.x10hosting.com/index.php which is not very convienient. I wondered was it a problem with my joomla index page, so I backed it up and uploaded a new index page I made in 5 seconds to check this out, it said "hello" on it. Nothing else. I uploaded this new basic index page I created and tried www.webchef.x10hosting.com and no luck. It still shows a blank page. I tried going to www.webchef.x10hosting.com/index.php again, and it did load the new "hello" index page. So I don't think its a joomla! index page problem, and more of a server problem. I have not done anything out of the ordinary, so I'm not sure what to do. I do not have any files missing like you spartan erik, and I get the same message on FTP as jaint, and my space is not full either. That had happened to me before as well and it appeared to correct itself after 10 minutes or so, but this has been going on for a few hours now.

Hope this helps you guys and me!

MJJOS.
