CORRECTION: sony nw-E507, not 3507 (ive been typing in 1337 for far too long )

my friend is selling this mp3 player to me, and i found out it uses the program sonic stage to transfer music files, etc.

do any of you all know whether or not the installation cd has a custom installation option to just drag drop music to the player rather than installing sony bloatware?

couldn't you just connect the player to your pc, and then use my computer, and open the external drive it appears as.

well thats what my mp3 player does and thats by creative, so it might be different.

nope sony's isnt drag and drop according to many of the people who have used it and rated it on cnet
but i found out that i do not have to use sony's sonic stage software after all

that link has the driver installation along with a file manager that is installed on the mp3 player itself.. hoorah! admins can close the topic!

I used to have an MP3 player that used Sonic Stage and it is a bit bloated but not to the point of being a problem...
