Sorry that this is such a noob question but how do i edit my website?

delete the current index page in your public_html folder. Or you can just edit it via the file manager inside your cPanel. Just open the file manger, and browse to the index page within the public_html directory click edit while the index file is in selection. This is the page people will see when they visit your domain.

I suggest you start with some basics if you haven't made a website before:

You are also able to just make an index.html page on your computer and later upload it to the server via FTP or the file manager.
