Ok I am sorry for this, but I want to ask for help with spammers.

Recently, I have got 10 - 20+ spammers from china. They all are trying to advertise child-porn, and I don't want to get into trouble because of them.

To stop it, I am thinking of IP banning china from my site, do you think there is a better way of stopping the spam instead of IP banning china?

There's been a lot of spam originating from China lately. It started peaking around this summer around the time of the Olympics. I've been sending my ISP mail to my home Linux router/box which is providing me this information. Otherwise, it certainly sounds like some sort of filtering solution is going to be needed.

China spam has started peaking around the Olympics because China lifted it's ban on over 90% of the websites around the world. I am not entirely sure that when the Olympics are over, Chinese people have put back on their strict internet policy.

Could somewhat relate to increasing spam from Chin a.

I just read in the news that if you get addicted to internet in China, it's classed as a clinical disease. So they gonna put restrictions on it or something...

An IP ban would probably help solve a lot of it. You could, if you wanted to take the time, is to find the IP / address responsible and forward the information to the offenders provider / ISP, then block the domain / e-mail / IP.

It may get someone involved, instead of just blocking them, getting it to stop altogether is the ultimate goal.

Well, I used to do that, but the ISP's always replies me that they don't care

If I were you, I would just ban the spammers IP's. Can guests post?

Making it so that users have to register always makes things easier.

Maybe you can add CAPTCHAs?

You mean like verification numbers/letters. I don't know if it is botting or not, but it might help to use antibot images to prevent this.

Or make like a stupid little question with an obvious answer, but put it in English and make it reject them if they get it wrong.

Unless it's a spam BOT, captchas won't do much.
Edit:
News:

Vislispantawl (user) appears to be a spammer. His website link redirects to adult friend finder.

I feel sorry for you.

As for me, I don't get enough visitors to even be hit by the spammers, when I do, I'm sure I'll catch on fast.
