SQL Error: 1030 - Got error 28 from storage engine

This is pretty much the error in question. I do understand that x10 experiences problems from time to time but checking my cpanel I see nothing wrong with the database status. Everything reads OK when I check and repair it, but this error was still coming up. Upon looking into the error code I found this:

Error code 28: No space left on device

One or more partitions on your server is out of space or doesn't have enough space to complete this operation. Contact your host immediately. You or your host will need to find out which partition is low on space and free up some more space.

The forum software seems to work just fine, and I waited until the new hourly resource "reset" to post this so I can figure out if it's within my ability to diagnose why the error is popping up. But it seems that things are still off. I wanted to see if this could be looked into.
